The Bromley Bus Preservation Group consists of a group of friends from the Bromley area, in south east London.  Over many years, we have preserved and restored various vehicles, from the timeless RFs and RMs, through Nationals and Titans to the relatively modern Volvo Olympian, still worked in their hundreds all over the country.

The vehicles we are preserving are not just Bromley vehicles.  Many of our vehicles are unique or of special interest:

• DMS2456 was the Fleetline altered according to Ogle Designs and was the test-bed for the production "L" class
• T684 was uniquely new with a Voith gearbox and remains thus so to this day
• Ls 2 and 3 are two of the three Olympians purchased by LT for the AVE trials
• Capital Citybus 166 is the only Leyland built with the Northern Counties Palatine 2 style bodywork
• Capital Citybus 250 was the only ever double-door Leyland-bodied Olympian built and was used as a Volvo demonstrator before being bought by Capital Citybus
• Metrobus 395 was the first brand new double deck vehicle to an independent in London for over 50 years
• Metrobus 109 was the last ever AEC vehicle built

As a group, we have the largest number of London Fleetlines and Olympians in preservation.  Whilst some are now enjoying their well-earned retirement, others are still seeing regular usage having been placed on loan to operators.
